Pregnancy Corner: Spinning Babies®
One of my favorite daily pregnancy practices is the Three Balances from Spinning Babies. These gentle techniques can help create balance in the body and encourage comfort throughout pregnancy.
These exercises can be started daily around 22 weeks of pregnancy.

My Favorite Recipes This Month
Caramelized Carrots Over Whipped Feta
A beautiful summer side dish that is both nourishing and flavorful.
For the Carrots
1½ lbs carrots, peeled and sliced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder (or 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced)
Salt and pepper to taste
Honey Brown Butter Drizzle
3 tbsp butter
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp fresh thyme
For the Whipped Feta
8 oz feta cheese
½ cup plain Greek yogurt
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 clove roasted garlic
Black pepper and fresh dill, to taste
Directions
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Toss carrots with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until tender and caramelized.
While the carrots roast, blend feta, Greek yogurt, and roasted garlic for about 2 minutes, until smooth and fluffy. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil and lemon juice while blending.
In a small pan, melt butter over medium heat until golden and fragrant. Stir in honey and thyme.
Spread the whipped feta onto a shallow serving plate or bowl. Garnish with black pepper, fresh dill, and a drizzle of olive oil and lemon juice.
Top with the roasted carrots and finish with the warm honey brown butter drizzle.
Spinach & Basil Turkey Burgers
A simple, protein-packed meal that pairs perfectly with a fresh salad, roasted vegetables, or sweet potato fries.
Ingredients
1¼ lbs lean ground turkey
3–4 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
1 tsp minced garlic
1½ tsp Pink Himalayan or sea salt
Directions
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, basil, spinach, garlic, and salt until evenly mixed.
Form into 4 burger patties.
Grill for about 5 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and no longer pink in the center.
Serve on a bun, lettuce wrap, or over a salad with your favorite toppings.
Flourless Olive Oil Chocolate Cake (not my recipe but one of my favorites to make!)

Creating space with Siblings & Older Children ❤️
One of the biggest adjustments after welcoming a new baby is helping older siblings feel connected and involved.
A simple activity I love is an after-breakfast or before bedtime family walk, or outdoor play.
Toddlers and young children often seek opportunities for independence, so giving them small responsibilities can help build confidence and connection.
Before your walk, place out:
• Shoes
• Hat
• Sunscreen
• Water bottle
While they work on getting ready, you can focus on baby.
You might say:
“When you get your sandals on and your water bottle ready, I’ll come help with sunscreen.”
Try placing a few dabs of sunscreen on their arms and encouraging them to rub it in themselves. Then you can finish getting yourself ready while offering support as needed.
These little moments help children feel capable, included, and connected during a season of change.
